In this 5 week program, we explore the topic of Embodied Wisdom. What does it mean to you and how can you integrate it into your daily life?

What can you expect?

During the three group sessions we build a base understanding of Embodied Wisdom through guided movement, talks and reflection. The workbook with simple exercises helps you to integrate what you learn into your daily life. In the personal session we look together at your specific needs and questions. We conclude The Trajectory together with an online reflection meeting to look back and discuss what you will take with you.

To ensure a safe environment and dive in fully, we will work in one small group throughout the whole Trajectory. In case all participants are Dutch, we will do the Trajectory in Dutch.

About The Explore Practice

In the guided movement sessions from the Explore Practice we use different elements like self massage, movement explorations, shaking, moving freely on music, partner work, drawing and writing to connect deeply to ourselves and the world around us. At the end of the session there is space for reflection, so we leave with new insights, as well as feeling more grounded and at home in our body.

About Embodied Wisdom 

Through the different elements of The Explore Practice we learn to engage in what we call embodied wisdom. Embodied wisdom refers to the idea that wisdom isn't just about intellectual knowledge but about our full experience. Experiencing a deep sense of belonging and connectedness within yourself and your environment. Feeling empowered to act in alignment with what is important to you. And most importantly, it's about daring to listen to the wisdom that arises from our bodies. In essence, it's understanding that wisdom isn't just in our minds but in our entire being.

In the Explore Spring Trajectory, Ummi will share inspirational and helpful insights about her ongoing research on embodied wisdom. As well as how it relates to stress and trauma in the body and how, through free and conscious movement, we can learn and give space to it.

What is embodied wisdom? Moving, dance, reflection, drawing, writing.
