TRE meets Explore Trajectory

Would you like to feel more connected from inside out? 

Learn how to release stress, tension and trauma at home and discover how to work together with your nervous system in daily life. 

4 week Embodied Deep Dive

  • 5 Group sessions on Saturday afternoons
  • The TRE x Explore Workbook (and notebook) with exercises that you can do in the sessions and at home to make it easy to integrate everything you learn into your day to day life 
  • 1 or more optional personal session(s) with 40% discount (valid till August), to together look into your personal TRE process and/or any other questions you might have

Group sessions 
At the beginnning of each session you start with taking a moment to come back to your body and land in the space with elements from The Explore Practice.

Afterwards, we dive into the fascinating world of your autonomic nervous system: Ummi will share important insights from the polyvagal theory to create a framework that gives a better understanding of what TRE® does, why it works so well and how you can work together with your nervous system in daily life.  Created and developed by Stephen Porges, PhD, the polyvagal theory describes the physiological/psychological states that underlie our daily behavior as well as challenges related to our wellness and mental health. In the sessions, the theory comes to life and becomes more personal and intuitive through talks, movement, writing, drawing and exercises in the space. Always with ample space to exchange and share your experiences.

We finish the session with a TRE session. Making the exercises your own, so that at the end of the trajectory you can easily release tension, stress and trauma at home in a way that works for you and doesn't (have to) cost a lot of time.

Group 
To ensure a safe and supportive environment, we will work with one small group of 5 to 8 participants throughout the whole trajectory. In case all participants are Dutch, we will do the Trajectory in Dutch. Otherwise the sessions are in English. 

Workbook
Through playful and accesible exercises in the sessions and in the workbook, you get more and more in touch with your nervous system. At the end of the trajectory, you will not only be able to do TRE all by yourself and expand the self healing capacity of your body, but you will also be able to better understand the signs your body is giving you, work together with your nervous system and have tools to take better care of yourself. 

Personal session(s)
If you would like to dive even deeper, make sure to include one or more  personal sessions in your trajectory.  In these sessions there is space to look more specifically at your personal needs and questions.

About TRE®

" TRE® – tension release for everybody and every body."

TRE stands for Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises and is a simple yet innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that calms down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

About The Explore Practice

In the guided movement sessions from the Explore Practice we use different elements like self massage, movement explorations, shaking, moving freely on music, drawing and writing to connect deeply to ourselves and the world around us. At the end of the session there is space for reflection, so we leave with new insights, as well as feeling more grounded and at home in our body.
