5 week Embodied Deep Dive
What can you expect?
The 5 sessions all start by grounding and landing in your body with elements from The Explore Practice. More in touch and more aware of how your body is feeling today, you will learn more about stress, trauma and your nervoussystem through talks and creative exercises. With more understanding, you then come back to your body in the TRE session, to release stored stress and tension.
In Explore fashion, there will be time afterwards, to share, reflect and let the session land in the way that you need.
Through playful exercises in the session and in the workbook, you get more and more in touch with your nervous system. Therefore, at the end of the trajectory, you will not only be able to do TRE all by yourself and expand the self healing capacity of your body, but you will also be able to better understand the signs your body is giving you, work together with your nervous system and have tools to take better care of yourself.
If you would like to dive even deeper, make sure to include a personal session in your trajectory. In this session there will be space to look more specifically at your personal needs and questions, to make TRE work even better for you.
To ensure a safe environment, we will work with one small group throughout the whole Trajectory. In case all participants are Dutch, we will do the Trajectory in Dutch.
About TRE®
" TRE® – tension release for everybody and every body."
TRE stands for Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises and is a simple yet innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that calms down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.
About The Explore Practice
In the guided movement sessions from the Explore Practice we use different elements like self massage, movement explorations, shaking, moving freely on music, drawing and writing to connect deeply to ourselves and the world around us. At the end of the session there is space for reflection, so we leave with new insights, as well as feeling more grounded and at home in our body.
